Musician Dan Aceda, the self-proclaimed “Prince of Benga” has released a new song with Jamaican singer Etana titled "Look To You". Aceda, a renowned Benga artiste features in the song which will be the lead single off his upcoming album.

Aceda, who greatly admires Etana’s work, pounced at the chance to work with the songstress way before she visited the country. The I rise singer was in the country earlier in the year for a performance at the Dobba Festival.

“I have always admired Etana and really followed her music. So I wanted to work with her for a long time. When my team reached out and sent her the demos, her team got back to us. We sealed the deal when she was here earlier this year,” Aceda said.

However, getting the project done was not easy since the song was recorded in both Nairobi and Jamaica. The video was also shot in multiple locations in both countries by award winning filmmaker Robby Bresson.

“It was as complex as all collabos. Scheduling alone was maybe two weeks… But because of the high skill levels on both sides, things eventually started flowing and we finished it in two days,” he said.

This will be Aceda’s fourth album and will be released in June. Some of the musicians who will feature in the album include Proff and Kletta.
