In conjunction with the Mike Flynn Foundation and backed by a host of celebrities, Anto Neosoul launched the Mike Flynn Academy on Thursday October 5. The initiative was launched at twin events, the first at Kenyatta University and the second at All Saints Cathedral.  The programme is the brainchild of Australian philanthropist Mike Flynn and will see youth mentored on entrepreneurship and provided with an opportunity to access one million shillings in capital. Some of the other mentors will include sport entrepreneur Cynthia Mumbo, renowned poet Mufasa and photo activist Boniface Mwangi. Registration for the programme that will begin in January 2018 has already begun and continues on the Michael Flynn Facebook page.

Speaking at the event, Anto said: “My first business when I left high school was selling clothes from Gikomba. Most people think I am an artiste, singer, actor or media personality but in actual fact I am a businessman. I have got this far by being in the right place at the right time. Success is for people who take the initiative; that’s what we hope to inspire in the next generation of youthful entrepreneurs.”
