One of the most-celebrated monthly events in Kenya, Blankets and Wine, has launched a new annual festival, the Africa Nouveau.

The first edition of the festival will take place next month, September 5 and 6 at the Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi.

The two-day festival is designed to showcase the most innovative and trend setting artistes, visual and digital artistes, DJs and fashion designers from all over Africa.

Blankets and Wine has been in existent for the past six years, with a total of 56 events.

“We just want to keep on innovating and giving our fans something new every year to celebrate,” said Boniface Mwalii, the outfit’s communication manager.
