Kenya’s popular musician, Jaguar, seems to be flirting with the idea of joining politics, sources close to him indicate.

In fact, when he recently launched the Jaguar Youth Empowerment Foundation, Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu hinted that Jaguar is interested in entering the political arena.

“He has told me that he is interested in joining politics, and I will help him to achieve whatever seat he is interested in,” said the MP.

His associates say Jaguar could be eyeing the Starehe seat, which could explain his concentration of development projects in the area. Gospel artiste, Ringtone, who has in the first attempted to join Parliament, is also said to be interested.
