Miss World set for charity events in Kenya

Reigning Miss World Mireia Lalaguna is scheduled to arrive in the country Monday evening for a short visit that will see her visit the local arm of the organisation Smile Train. The beauty will meet with the organisation's local partners who help cleft patients in an effort to learn more about its (Smile Train) sustainable model.

Mireia will also meet Miss World Kenya 2014 Idah Nguma whom she will award Sh1.2 million to benefit Smile Train and also for winning in the Beauty with a Purpose category in 2014.

She will be accompanied by Julia Morley Miss World Chairlady, Maria Harfanti Miss World Asia and Steve Douglas Miss World Events Director. Also expected in the country is Satish Karla, Chief Operations Officer, Smile Train International.
