The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) show and red-carpet event is best known for its fun, playful fashion and over-the-top performances. Most of the red carpet style is easily adaptable into your fashion loving wardrobe with only slight changes necessary.
The awards honour the best music videos of the year.This year’s biggest theme on the red carpet was head-to-toe black with superstar Beyonce leading the pack in a Nicolas Jebran gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, and Christian Louboutin shoes.
The star, who was this year presented with the Video Vanguard award by her husband Jay-Z and their adorable daughter Blue Ivy later changed into a bedazzled leotard to close the show with an epic 16-minute medley of multiple songs from her self-titled fifth studio album and changed yet again into a burgundy Zuhair Murad gown after her performance for after show interviews and pictures.
Other stars who worked the trend included Miley Cyrus in an Alexandre Vauthier ensemble, Kendall Jenner in an Alon Livne top and trousers, La Perla bra, Jennifer Fisher jewelry, and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.
Younger sister Kylie Jenner, who slayed in an Alexandre Vauthier gown with Gucci shoes, a Giles & Brother necklace, and Jennifer Fisher rings and earrings. Another sight to behold was model Chanel Iman who looked spectacular in a Balmain dress and Casadei heels.
