2016 was a tumultuous year for singer Avril, real name Judith Nyambura, and to be in a good place this year is more than a huge sigh of relief for her. The "Yule Dame" singer, who had a very publicised break up with her South African fiance Leslie Mugadza last year in July is not wallowing in self-pity.
She says she is optimistic and ready to move on and told Showbuzz that although a bit cautious, she is open to dating again.
“I am at a place where I want to wait and see. If a good guy comes along why not? We have to move on with life, yes?” she posed.

“Yes we do. We are very cordial with each other. There is no bad blood between us,” she said.
