SHOWBUZZ: Diamond tops charts in Australia and DRC Congo

Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz practically ended 2016 on top after two of his collaborations landed at number one on the Australian and Congo DRC music charts. Chacun Pour Soi, the song in which the late Papa Wemba featured Diamond closed off the year at number one in DRC.
“Thank you so much Congo for the love. May God rest our beloved legend Papa Wemba’s soul in eternal peace,” he wrote on Instagram.
A day later after this was announced, Australian radio station Radio Afro declared Kidogo, in which he featured the duo P-Square as Song of the Year 2016.
Diamond beat Nigerian musical giants like Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Davido to the top position.
