Jay Z, one of the most successful rappers in the world and his mega star wife Beyonce have become a billion dollar couple. According to Forbes, the superstar couple’s net worth has climbed to $1.16 billion.
Jay Z accounts for most of their wealth, about $810 million to be exact. He famously retired back in 2003 but couldn’t stay away from the music business and came back to create more beats and racking up more business venture. He co-founded the clothing line Roca Wear, founded an entertainment company called Roc Nation, invested in bars and restaurants not forgetting Uber and owns a sports agency. He also founded the music streaming service Tidal in 2014.
Beyonce’s wealth is estimated at $350 million. She owns a stake in Tidal, has a clothing brand called Ivy Park and runs her own management company, Parkwood Entertainment.
