Kaka Empire artiste Timothy Owuor commonly known to his fans as Timmy T Dat has released a new party song called “Inaweza” in which he addresses “…those people who say I sing nonsense,”
The musician, speaking to Showbuzz said the song is not exactly addressing haters but those people who don’t understand his music. “It’s my time now, nimefika, if you don’t want to listen to my music then you have other options. People have choices,” said Timmy.
He also addressed an article that ran on an entertainment site listing him as one of the Kenyan artistes who sound the same in every song they create.
“When you go hard and things are going well for you…people can’t give you 100 per cent. The guy who wrote that story might actually be a fan because he took time to listen to my songs. Regardless of what people say I love my fans and that’s their opinion,” he said, adding that “I’m here to stay, I have loyal followers and they keep me going.”
