Wema Sepetu’s plan if she doesn’t conceive this year

Famous bongo movie actress Wema Isaac Sepetu has reiterated that she will get rid of her uterus (have a hysterectomy) by the end of this year if she does not get pregnant.

The 29-year-old curvaceous actress who has for a long time yearned to be a mother, has had several miscarriages, the last one being twins with her then boyfriend, photographer and model Idris Sultan.

Wema lost the pregnancy in February 2016. For a long time she has been the subject of ridicule from many quarters including her fans due to her struggle to bear children.

In an interview a few years back while still dating Diamond, she said she had tried every method to conceive including visiting all renowned reproductive specialists in Tanzania but she was not lucky.

Last year she made up her mind that once she turns 30 without having conceived, then she will have no choice but to get rid of her uterus for good, a decision she still stands by despite remaining hopeful.

She then intends to adopt a child. “Mwaka ndiyo hivyo unaisha, lakini ahadi yangu iko palepale. Kama kweli sitanasa ujauzito hadi nagonga miaka 30 kamili, lazima nifanye nilivyoahaidi na nitaenda kuasili mtoto,” she was quoted by a renowned Tanzanian showbiz blog. Wema will be turning 30 in September.

This is why Bongo Flava musician Ray C is still in Kenya

One time undisputed Bongo Flava queen, Ray C, who is in Kenya, does not want to go back home and it’s for this simple reason; she is no longer a darling of the masses in Tanzania and does not get shows like her peers.

Ray C is currently in Nairobi and word is she is trying to reach out to several promoters requesting for shows that would ensure she stays a while longer in Kenya as she ponders her next move.

The petite singer returned to the country for the first time since 2012 where she had a one week mini tour at the Coast region courtesy of Ring Ring Entertainment.

However after the end of the tour, Ray C decided to travel to Nairobi to exploit other ventures as she isn’t ready to go back home anytime soon.

Before coming to Kenya, Ray C had been residing with friends in Oman.

“She was scheduled to fly back to Dar es Salaam after her last show on 30th last month but she told me she wasn’t ready to go back as she doesn’t feel loved nor appreciated as before, and thus would love to stay in Kenya for longer.

Besides, since her battle with drug addiction she says very few promoters are willing to work with her because they still believe she is not clean,” Dickson Waweru the CEO of Ring Ring Entertainment disclosed to Showbuzz.

“She has since left for Nairobi to try and see if she can be able to get some more gigs,” Waweru added. Several bongo artistes who were once big shots in Tanzania, have in the past relocated to Kenya like Matonya and JI of the Kidato Kimoja fame.

Three years ago, Hussein Machozi resided in Kenya for more than a year. Rose Muhando last year also expressed her wish to relocate to Kenya due to frustrations emanating from the constant fraud scandals she was allegedly accused of.
