Popular deejay Crème de le crème’s scheduled tour of the US that was slated to start last week on Wednesday went up in flames after he was denied entry and forced to come back home.

This is alleged to be due to what may be brewing beef and or unfair competition between promoters in the US.

Promoter Charles “Tall” Oliver who was waiting for the DJ in Dallas at the airport announced on Facebook and shared a screenshot of their conversation that DJ Crème had been denied entry into the US and was held at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

“Why would a Kenyan subject another Kenyan to such? Let’s compete fair and square. All the Kenyan DJs and artistes performing during memorial weekend we know the nature of their visas so don’t use dirty tricks because all these artistes might have the same problem… These guys coming from home are just trying to make something to support their families back home”

However another promoter, Kelly Ochieng, who thought the accusations were directed at him, also in a Facebook post alluded that DJ Crème did not have a work permit that would allow him to perform.

“If you make an investment for artistes or DJs to come to the States please apply for a work permit or do your homework… I am very sorry for Crème who is a cool friend of mine. I wish nothing like that for anyone but at the end of the day why would a promoter post a personal conversation on Facebook just to justify their unpreparedness and unprofessionalism and blame someone else for their failure?”
