After a grisly road accident last year, Kenya’s fast-rising singer Wangechi seems to be getting back on her feet fully. She was part of the Coke Studio Season Three artistes, alongside other African singers like Ice Prince, Ali Kiba and Avril. On Friday, she released her new single Fast Lane, which received positive reception online.
Two weeks ago, she was in Rwanda, alongside other artistes, where she recorded a yet-to-be-released song with Rwandan R’nB musician Butera Knowless.
Her previous single, "Cardiac Arrest", which she released after getting out of hospital, is doing well in the region and internationally.
