The ceremony dubbed Sansui Colours Stardust Awards 2015 held in Mumbai, honoured commercially successful and critically acclaimed movies and artistic performances of 2015.
Salman Khan’s block buster Bajrangi Bhaijan took home three coveted awards for The Best Film, Best Director (Kabir Khan) and the Breakthrough Performance by a child artist Harshali Malhotra. The Best Actor of the Year – Male went to the legendary Amitabh Bachnan for an out of ordinary performance in Piku, as the charming and extremely talented Deepika Padukone was adjudged Best Actor- Female for the same movie.
The award for Best Supporting role went to newcomer Shifali Shah and veteran Anil Kapoor for their roles in the film Dil Dhadakne Do. Randeep Hooda was named Best performer for his performance in Main Aur Charles.
