London Has Fallen is playing at Century Cinemax, Junction and Planet Media, Kisumu, but to be honest, if you’ve seen Olympus Has Fallen/White House Down, it’s basically the same storyline.

In this paltry part 2 of what is promising to become a weak franchise, the British Prime Minister has passed away and heads of state from all over the world congregate to attend his funeral.

However, a deadly plot to take out world leaders is afoot. Sounds pretty standard, along with the cliché Middle Eastern villain and the battle-weary white saviour who trusts no one and is always the man with the plan.

That’s because it is, ad nauseam. May as well watch Homeland reruns – they at least try to make the characters multi-dimensional.
