There are many special things about this short film, starting with the fact that it is written and directed by Kenyan creative, Silas Miami, who also has a sterling singing voice. On top of his obvious directorial talents, the cast is wonderfully chosen and played, from the main characters to the supporting ones hiding their indignation, but perhaps I need to start at the beginning. Full Service is about an escort trying to have a relationship with her client-turned-boyfriend. The short film details what happens when the relationship is brought out into the real world and she goes to meet his family. It’s short, it’s snappy, and it’s surprising; the dialogue and cinematography are great to watch, and the conclusion leaves you hanging in a way that doesn’t allow you to guess the path
