  • Unless, of course, he does want to be found.

Welcome to Shonda Rhimes’ and Betsy Beers’ newest addictive addition to your screen – The Catch, which trails Alice Vaughn, a private investigator who has been conned by a company of grifters, con artists with a speciality in imitating and creating whole new lives.

In the midst of solving her clients’ cases, she vows to find the man who conned her as well – but not all the tech in the world can really find someone who doesn’t want to be found.

Unless, of course, he does want to be found.

This series packs a drama-filled punch, which is something we know Shonda well for, on top of beautiful sets, a well-picked supporting cast, tailored fashion and interesting scene transitions.

The main character suffers from slight overacting, as with many Shondaland productions, but compensates beautifully with the casting of an “everyday woman” for a lead role.
