SATURDAY MAGAZINE

Dear readers, there comes a time when even the best of friends must part company.

That time has come for me. Starting next week, I move onto a different challenge within the Nation Media Group.

The past 10 years have been a thrilling journey for me as we all worked towards making Saturday Magazine the hottest read in the market.

Without all of you, our faithful readers, we would not be where we are today and I thank each and every one of you for remaining loyal.

As I move on, I leave you in very able hands and I know the magazine can only continue to grow even bigger.

Continue reading your favourite mag because there are great things cooking in the oven.

In the meantime, this week, catch up with Jackson Biko’s rant against college men and women who ruin their lives so easily and ably while at university.

Rupi Mangat travels to N’Djamena for a day and comes back with stories to tell, while our main feature prods you to think about who is actually running your home and winning the affections of your husband and children: Is it you or is it your house help?

Turn to page 6 and then discuss. Enjoy your weekend!
