‘Big Brother Africa’ unveils Kenyan, Ugandan contestants

“Big Brother Africa” has revealed the show’s Kenyan, Ugandan and Zimbabwean contestants.
The programme, arguably the continent’s biggest reality TV show, has attracted as many fans as it has critics.

'ENTERED FOR EXPOSURE'
He says he entered the competition for the exposure, as well as for the intrigue of living with total strangers in a closed environment and the desire to share his lifestyle with a huge audience.
Ellah is the reigning Miss Uganda and says she is “charismatic, outspoken, loving, sophisticated, strong and determined”.
Butterphly describes herself as “unique, feisty, mysterious, fun-loving and witty”.
Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika had unsuccessfully auditioned to enter the house. Her application came hot on the heels of yet another socialite Huddah Monroe’s brief stint in the “Big Brother” house.
Three “Big Brother” housemates will be introduced daily starting September 18. This will be followed by regular updates on social media.
The show’s kick-off date was initially meant to be September 7 but was postponed after a fire burnt down the show's house in Johannesburg, South Africa.
