Jaguar: Count me out of the pay raise

Starehe MP Jaguar (Charles Njagua) has categorically stated that he does not support the recent calls by fellow MPS for salary increment.

Starehe MP Jaguar (Charles Njagua) has categorically stated that he does not support the recent calls by fellow MPs for salary increment.

In July 2017, Salary and Remuneration Commission ( SRC) dealt a massive blow to the Members of the August house by slashing heavily their salaries by 15 per cent as a part of plan to reduce the public sector wage bill by 35 per cent that will save the country Sh 8.8 billion annually.
The musician took to his official Twitter handle to state his position on the matter, posting: “Just to categorically state, I am not in support of a pay rise. Count me out”.
