'Falling Down' actor Michael Douglas and his ex-wife Diandra have put their luxury estate up for sale.

The couple, who were married from 1977 to 2000, share the property in Valldemossa, on the west coast of Mallorca, during the year, with the 'Falling Down' actor having it from January to June, while Diandra has it for the remainder of the year.

The 247-acre property features a pool, 11 bedrooms and access to the Mediterranean, and according to Zillow, is where Michael's wife, Welsh actor Catherine Zeta-Jones, 45, had been staying during her separation from her 69-year-old husband.

The couple announced a trial separation in August 2013 but have since reunited.

Earlier this year, meanwhile, Diandra moved to quell speculation that Catherine was keen to acquire her share of the luxurious property, insisting she hadn't made any offer for her stake in the house.

She said: "It's not true. Sometimes people say things without the slightest proof.

"Why would someone who doesn't speak Spanish or the local Majorcan language or knows nothing about this culture want a house here? She doesn't even come here much."

The property, otherwise known as S'Estaca, has previously been visited by the likes of Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and Jack Nicholson, The Times newspaper reports.
