In a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria magazine, Tiwa said that she knew that the marriage was headed south as they had already been separated for two months and had been unsuccessful in working things out.
“The truth is that for the past two months, TJ (Teebillz) and I have not been together and it was something that we were trying to work through. I knew this marriage wasn’t going to work and it has been like that for the last two months,” she said.
Nigerian star Tiwa Savage has finally opened up about what led to her divorcing her former husband and manager, Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Ballogun who accused her of infidelity, with fellow music stars Donn Jazzy, 2Face Idibia and Mr Sid.
Last week, Teebillz, a renowned music producer in Nigeria, made the allegations about his ex-wife Tiwa, in furious Instagram posts which were later deleted but not before they went viral.
‘SACRIFICED HIS LIFE’
In the posts, Teebillz said that he sacrificed his life for Tiwa Savage, putting in his work and money to ensure her success.
In one of the posts, he captioned a throwback photo of Tiwa and wrote, “This was you when I met you with 100 percent insecurity.”

Tiwa Savage denied all the allegations of infidelity raised by her ex-husband.
Meanwhile, 2Face has blasted Teebillz for claiming that he slept with his wife. In a post shared on his Twitter page, the legendary singer snapped back at people who have had unkind things to say about the Marvin queen.
“I’m so disgusted at some people who have been making distasteful jokes out of people’s real life heartbreaking predicaments,” the singer said, adding, “God forgive you.”
Tiwa Savage is signed to Marvin Records label that is owned by the legendary producer and singer Donn Jazzy who has also been accused by Teebillz of flirting with his ex-wife.
