It is no secret that Diamond Platinumz dumped Wema Sepetu for Zari Hassan, who is now expecting his child.

But speculation is rife about the reason Diamond broke up with the former Miss Tanzania, with some fans suggesting that the relationship ended because she could not bear him children.

Before meeting the lady boss Zari, Diamond and Wema, the actress, model and self-made successful entrepreneur, had been everyone’s favourite couple.

A few months down the line, the two, whose relationship has been the subject of gossip online and elsewhere, made headlines again when they revealed that Zari was heavy with Diamond’s child.

Recently, Wema, who is trying to move on with another bongo star Ommy Dimpoz , became the subject of debate when she posted a congratulatory message on her Instagram page to her close friend and fellow model Hamisa Mobeto (who at one time was rumoured to be dating Diamond) after she gave birth.

NOT YET A WOMAN

“They say you are not yet a woman until you experience motherhood. My young sister I just heard the news that you have given birth, you are a woman now. I can’t even start to tell you how much I envy you right now. Congratulation either way and lots of kisses to the beautiful little angel,” Wema captioned in Hamisa’s picture.

Many of her followers, rather than joining her in congratulating Hamisa, chose to hit at her, asking why she had never considered getting children of her won.

Prissy Genius: You once said that you aborted the late (Steven) Kanumbas’ child, not unless you repent you will never be able to have a baby.

Godi Shirika: This chic is barren.

Ally Saed: It could be the reason why Diamond left you because you aren’t fertile.

These and similar comments so irritated Wema that she was forced to respond by posting a lengthy emotional post explaining why she hasn’t had any children.

“If only I was able to have a child I would have given birth a long time ago, but I can’t. No, I will not blame God for the situation I am currently in.

“Should I keep telling you people how much I struggle day and night to have a baby of my own, is that what you want? Your reckless comments about why I am unable to have a child are so hurtful.

“I understand time is of the essence but it’s not right to keep rubbing it in. Wasn’t I supposed to congratulate a friend for her baby?  I am also human please care to care.”
