Samsung electronics has released new brands in readiness to implement its flagship gadget connectivity idea dubbed ‘the Internet of Things’.

The electronic firm associated with consumer electronics plans to increase its focus on other dedicated brands to unify Samsung’s end-to-end gadgets.

The brands can be used in industries such as retail, education, healthcare, financial services, hospitality, transportation, and logistics. 

Samsung Electronics President and Chief Marketing Officer Won-Pyo Hong said there is need for more products in various fields as the firm continues with the advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) idea.

“As more and more businesses adopt the Internet of Things, we have a great opportunity to enhance customer value with increased productivity and profit. Significant advancements can be made in the business process through the application of IoT in inventory management, energy efficiency and more as we accelerate the IoT adoption,” Hong said.

Mobile devices will also be integrated with interactive learning tools to make classroom collaboration easier and more fun. Students are encouraged to actively engage in lessons through features such as screen-sharing, on-screen quizzes and digital handwriting using the S-pen. 

In the hospitality industry, the electronics firm will provide a ‘smart hotel solution’ to optimise operational efficiency.  Here, a management solution offers a premium in-room experience, including features like auto-adjustment of room lighting and blinds for optimal brightness levels. Samsung’s sleek full HD Hospitality Displays deliver exceptional picture quality.
