It is located within Ol Pejeta conservancy in Laikipia County, a semi-arid region characterised with shrubs, strong winds and ever sunny weather condition, it is one camp you will always get the desire to visit always.

According to the management of the camp, the swimming pool was purposely constructed on a raised ground and near the waterhole to give visitors a perfect view of the wildlife and the beautiful clear view of Mt Kenya during cloudless days.

“Our camp is located in very strategic place where the weather favours us in a big way. During cold seasons, which is from June to August, we receive a lot of visitors from Nyeri and Meru.

This is because this area is never that cold and there is always sunshine,” noted Henrietta Mwangola, the camp’s manager.

Ms Mwangola said many people prefer spending the winter season in their camp before going back.

This is one of the many good things that attracts thousands of visitors to this tented camp.

However, its visit offers one a perfect opportunity to tour one of the Mt Kenya’s best kept secret, originally built by Saudi Arabian billionaire Mr Adnan Khashoggi.

The two bedrooms have large balcony with excellent view of the game, teeming plains and glimpse of Mt Kenya on a clear day.

The camp in only 45 minutes journey by air from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Nanyuki airstrip. From here a visitor covers another 25km by road to the camp.

The conservancy, has many species of wildlife. While at the camp, a visitor gets to enjoy day and night game drives, bird walks board games and library services.
