What you need to know:

  • Use cooling sprays: Whenever you feel hot and sweaty, spray a cold water mist on your forehead and neck to lower body temperatures.
  • Use non-oily products: Protect your skin with lightweight moisturiser. Look out for oil-free products to use during the day.
  • Keep feet cool: When your feet feel hot, the rest of the body fells hot too. This is the season for sandals.  Dust feet with foot powder to keep dry all day long.

AS THE temperature continues to rise, it is important to protect yourself in order to stay cool and confident all day long.

1. Start the day with a warm shower:  Warm showers encourage healthy perspiration which helps to regulate your temperature. Start with tepid water and increase slightly to warm. For a cooling effect, choose a menthol based shower gel.

2. Keep dry: Use antiperspirant on clean, dry skin to control both odour and sweating.

3. Keep your handshake dry: Rinse your wrists under cold water to cool hot hands. Use chilled antiperspirant on wrists and palms if sweating is intense.

4. Use cooling sprays: Whenever you feel hot and sweaty, spray a cold water mist on your forehead and neck to lower body temperatures.
