Figuring out what to wear to a wedding during the cold season is a nightmare for many as the chilly breeze may deter your ambition to look your best. Here are tips to consider while choosing your outfit

Location: It’s important to consider where the wedding is being held. Consider if it’s an indoor or an outdoor wedding, and make sure that you are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions.  If it’s windy avoid wearing flowing dresses. In such cases, the best bet would be to choose a sheath dress.

Colours: It’s a great opportunity to experiment with bolder colours to brighten up. If you must do a dark palette consider turning up in a dramatic little black dress highlighted with colourful accents.

Invest in perfect cover-ups: Cover up your elegant strappy dress with a delicate shrug, cape, a well-fitting nice coat or a pretty pashmina, and then take it off later when the dancing begins. Just make sure the fabric will keep you warm. There’s a lot of faux fur in fabulous colours in the market that are worth investing in.

Opt for a long sleeved dress that is flattering and cosier or one that has a flowy hemline.

Shoes: If you are not daring enough to withstand the cold in strappy, heel go for closed heels. Consider the colours- metallics or bold prints will work. Opt for fabrics  like satin or embellished detailing. A fabulous pair of boots in a nice colour can work as well. However, it has to be dressy for it to work.
