President Uhuru Kenyatta has commended outgoing Anglican Archbishop Eliud Wabukala for his aptness in leadership, entreating Kenyans to copy his qualities.

Speaking during a farewell party at the archbishop’s residence, President Kenyatta said the bishop advocated for harmony among Kenyans.

“The peace and harmony that has reigned in the church, and prevailed throughout the country is a great legacy that he leaves behind,” said the President.
“Indeed, it is a foundation on which those that come after you will need to build on.”

He also challenged Kenyans, when they get an opportunity to serve, to always leave institutions better than they found them.
