2 killed in inter-clan fighting in Mandera

Two people were Sunday killed in Mandera's Rhamu sub-county in suspected inter-clan conflict between Gare and Degodia communities, a police officer in the area told nation.co.ke.

Administration police, regular police and members of the GSU have now been moved in the town to cool the tension and deter more killing.

More than 100 people died last year from inter-clan fighting in the area.
