Music lovers took to Twitter on Wednesday this week to celebrate Nobel Prize laureate Bob Dylan who was turning 76 years.

Incidentally, one of Dylan’s most iconic songs remains “Forever Young”, whose refrain is: “May you stay forever young”.

Dylan, the first musician to win the Nobel Prize for Literature, which he accepted in April, once said that anything he can sing he calls a song and “anything I can’t sing I call a poem”, is also the author of Chronicles Volume One, his autobiography, as well as a novel, Tarantula.

The American folk singer has also won 11 Grammy Awards and sold over 100 million records.

“May he outlive us all,” Scott Derrickson wrote on his twitter handle @scottderrickson.

“Happy birthday to the greatest of the greats and the most legendary of the legends, Bob Dylan,” Huxley Hill (@HuxleyHill) gushed.

Incidentally, the reclusive artiste that the world knows today as Bob Dylan was born Robert Allen Zimmerman in the town of Duluth, Minnesota.
