Police temporarily blocked Limuru Road on Thursday following a bomb scare at the Canadian High Commission.

Bomb Disposal Unit officers arrived at the scene after a parcel suspected to contain explosives was found.

Gigiri OCPD Vitalis Otieno said the parcel was harmless as bomb experts found it contained official documents.

Police reopened the road at 11.45am.
