Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has written to The Star newspaper, seeking details of alleged corruption in the Supreme Court.

In a statement to media houses, the CJ said the allegation that a Supreme Court judge received money to influence a “judgment in favour of one of the 47 governors” was serious and required immediate action.

“As you are aware, the fight against corruption is one of the pillars of our efforts to guarantee access to justice for all Kenyans,” he said.
