Five seized over Norwegian’s death in Nairobi

Police have arrested five suspects in connection with the mysterious death of a Norwegian man.
Mr Ole Stenby, 25, died in a friend’s house at the Mirema Springs Apartments in Zimmerman estate, Nairobi, hours before he was due to fly out to Norway on Sunday.
He had been staying with Mr Benson Mutiso since September 21.
Kasarani police boss Robinson Mboloi said on Monday that Mr Mutiso, who was among the people arrested, in his statement, indicated that he had known the deceased for two years.
Mr Mutiso said he had travelled to Machakos on Saturday and found Mr Stenby dead on the couch when he returned the following day around 8am.
Mr Mboi said police are hunting for another suspect, a woman. The body was taken to City Mortuary and investigations are under way. Police said a preliminary report shows the crime scene could have been interfered with.
