The report found that drug abuse is particularly rife in boarding schools where well-established cartels between students and workers operate.
The students revealed that they had contact with people who secretly supplied the substances at particular points, with the abuse gaining momentum over the weekends.
Some learners also confessed lying to teachers that they suffer from chronic conditions that require them to see a specialist every now and then, only to use sick leaves to replenish their depleted narcotics stock.
