Nutanix to improve JamboPay's service delivery

JamboPay, a service provider that helps Nairobi County in revenue collection, is now using Nutanix Computing Platform in a bid to improve its service delivery.

JamboPay which allows customers to make electronic payments through eJiji, entered into a contract with Lenovo Kenya for the supply and installation of the Nutanix xtreme computing platform for its data Centres.

Nutanix xtreme is a powerful Hyper Converged computing and storage infrastructure, which is highly scalable with simplified resources management and security capabilities.

In a statement, JamboPay CEO Danson Muchemi said that they acquired Nutanix to support its rapid growth as it deepens its local payments services and expands across the continent.

‘’We are excited to work with Lenovo and Nutanix. Their technology allows for maximum availability, performance and scalability of our services,” said Mr Muchemi.

JamboPay is among the first Companies in Africa to acquire the Technology.

Global companies that have incorporated Nutanix solution includes EBay, Yahoo, Toyota, Panasonic, NASDAQ, AT&T, Airbus and the U.S Army.
