Kenya will donate Sh87 million to Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia to help in the fight against Ebola, President Uhuru Kenyatta has said.

President Kenyatta said the donation is in line with Kenya’s foreign policy on African solidarity.

“Standing in solidarity with our African brothers and sisters during times of adversity is part of our foreign policy,” President Kenyatta said.

He assured Kenyans that border surveillance would continue to ensure that they are protected from Ebola.

The President has previously stated that Kenya would not abandon West African countries hit by Ebola.
