QUALITY SERVICES

“We will push for such a deal to be replicated in all counties,” Mr Nzili told the Nation on the phone on Tuesday.

He said the national union of teachers would ensure that the services were made available to each and every teacher.

“A healthy teacher is very important in the delivery of quality services in our schools. We should invest in their health,” he said.

On free education funds for primary schools, the unionist said they wanted them to be given out as a lump sum and not in “doses”. They now want the money to be given out on the first day of each term.
