Nairobi Chapel pastor Oscar Muriu carjacked, robbed
Nairobi Chapel pastor Oscar Muriu was on Sunday evening carjacked at the gate of the church on Ngong Road.
The pastor and his wife, Beatrice, were carjacked as they left the church and were later abandoned in the Karen area.
Nairobi Police Commandant Benson Kibue told Nation.co.ke by phone that the couple’s vehicle, a Toyota Harrier, was recovered.
“The robbers made away with Sh7,000, two mobile phones and credit cards and national identity cards,” he said.
Mr Kibue said pastor Muriu and his wife were not harmed by the robbers.
Police are investigating the incident.
