Interior Principal Secretary, Karanja Kibicho will on Monday hold a meeting with the management of Uber taxis and the Kenya Taxi Cab Association in an attempt to resolve their row.

The meeting comes in the wake of a dispute between the two organisations over their methods of operations.

Earlier on Wednesday, Interior Cabinet Secretary, Joseph Nkaissery had directed Mr Kibicho to convene a meeting between the two organisations to discuss the stalemate before it escalates.

He said the issues raised by the groups should be addressed to come up with a lasting solution.

On Wednesday, taxi operators asked the government to intervene in the dispute, claiming Uber was driving them out of business
