Police ordered to testify in Uhuru car theft case
Seven police officers have been ordered to testify in a case against five suspects accused of violently robbing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s guard of an official escort car three years ago.
Nairobi chief magistrate Francis Andayi issued the summons after he was told the seven could not be reached by phone.
Prosecutors had said the officers failed to show up despite being served.
Hearing resumes on June 19.
