President Kenyatta to meet Migori delegation

President Uhuru Kenya will Thursday meet a delegation from Migori County after failing to meet them on Wednesday as had earlier been planned.

Mr Joshua Kutuny, the Director Of Political Affairs  and advisor said the President will also discuss development agenda with the leaders.

The delegation of over 300 people from Migori County was to meet President Kenyatta to apologize over chaos that disrupted his rally in Migori town over a week ago.

State House had indicated that an earlier meeting failed to take place due to the President’s busy schedule.

“We are here to say sorry to him. What happened to him was unintended and we expect him to come back soon,” said one of the members of the delegation.

The team is led by Migori Governor Okoth Obado who is trying to plead with President Kenyatta to organise another quick visit to Migori.
