Nine rabbits found alive under the rubble of the collapsed building in Huruma, Nairobi have raised hope for more survivors.

Kenya Red Cross on Wednesday morning posted on Twitter the rescue of the animals that were trapped in the collapsed building for five days.

This comes a day after a seven months-old girl was pulled alive from the collapsed building.

Baby Dealeryn Saisi was found sleeping in a basin wrapped in a blanket four days after the building collapsed.

She has since been reunited with her father, Ralson Saisi Wasike.

The building collapsed last Friday during a heavy downpour in Nairobi.

So far, 136 people have been rescued from the rubble and 23 confirmed dead.
