Raila Odinga treated for food poisoning

Opposition leader Raila Odinga was on Wednesday treated at Karen Hospital for food poisoning.

Mr Odinga was rushed to the hospital in the morning after feeling unwell.

His spokesman Dennis Onyango confirmed to the Nation that Mr Odinga was treated and discharged.

Mr Odinga was last seen in public during the burial of the late Nyeri governor Nderitu Gachagua.

On Wednesday, he was expected to address the 4th Annual Devolution Conference in Naivasha but he could not attend.
