On Sunday, Dr Belio Kipsang, the PS, told the Nation that plans for the launch of the project were on course and the basic training of trainers had been completed.

“We have already trained over 3,000 trainers who will from this week start training some 61,000 teachers around the country selected to teach under this programme,” he said.

Training centres had been established in all counties as part of logistical plans before the project launch, expected to be mid next month.
