The unidentified man, whom police estimate to be between 30 and 35 years old, was knocked down on Limuru Road, just after he jumped off a bridge.
The man is believed to be behind the killings of two men and a woman at the recreational park in Parklands. The bodies were found on Friday and Saturday, placed on nylon paper with head injuries purportedly inflicted by stones. Their hands were crossed over the chest, the stones next to them.

Gigiri divisional police commander Vitalis Otieno said officers started the search for the man at 11pm on Tuesday.

He emerged from his hideout and tried to attack one of the undercover police officers before the rest intervened and asked him to surrender.

“When he saw police officers, he ran away with his weapons towards the bush. Police combed the bush but the man escaped and ran towards Limuru Road,” said Mr Otieno.
