Grenade found in Likoni amid security operation

Likoni Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) Robert Murithi was leading the operation as police awaited bomb experts to arrive at the scene.

A major security operation is currently going on in the area, involving soldiers of the Kenya Defence Forces and the police.

Several schools and businesses in the area had been closed, with soldiers in military vehicles and police seen patrolling the area.
