Three killed in Voi road accident

At least three people, among them a one-year-old child, were killed in a road accident Thursday morning at Ndii, about 10 kilometres away from Voi Town.

Several other passengers, including the conductor, sustained injuries and were taken to Voi Level Four Hospital.

The driver is said to have lost control of the bus, which then veered off the road and rolled over several times at around 7.15am.

The Classic Sacco bus was carrying about 40 passengers and was on its way to Nairobi. It had just left Voi Town before the accident.

He said the driver escaped after the accident and police were still looking for him.
