Police officers shot dead three suspects and recovered a firearm in Westlands, Nairobi, on Friday.
A fourth suspect escaped on foot.
Flying Squad head Said Kiprotich said the officers trailed the suspects from Diamond Plaza in Highridge, Parklands. He said the suspects had planned to rob a bank.
The operation was led by the officers from the Special Crime Prevention Unit and supported by Flying Squad officers.
