Tourist shot dead in Mombasa

- Two people, one armed with a pistol, appeared form a corner of a building and shot dead the 28 year old German lady and a 33 year old Ugandan man who is currently undergoing treatment at Coast General Hospital.
- The pair was to stay in Mombasa for two days before proceeding to Malindi.
A tourist was on Thursday shot dead at Kuze road within Mlango wa Papa area in Mombasa's old town.
Two people, one armed with a pistol, appeared form a corner of a building and shot dead the 28 year old German lady and a 33 year old Ugandan man who is currently undergoing treatment at Coast General Hospital.
Nothing was stolen from the two.
They ha arrived in the town from Nairobi before they were attacked about 5:10 pm.
The pair was to stay in Mombasa for two days before proceeding to Malindi.
The incident happened near where a Russian tourist was last month shot in the forehead. She later succumbed to the gunshot injury while undergoing surgery at a Mombasa hospital.
