Two dormitories reduced to ashes in different schools

About 80 girls at Nkoilale Primary School in Narok West are set to spend the cold night in classrooms after a fire gutted down their dormitory on Tuesday night.

In another similar incident in Nakuru County, a fire also destroyed a dormitory at Rongai Boys High School.

Students and teachers efforts to put out the fire that broke out during evening preps were unsuccessful.

Local residents also aided in the effort to extinguish the fire after responding to students' distress calls.

The cause of the two fires has not yet been established.
